While attending the Paris collection shows, Gelila, carrying one of her prototype bags created a media frenzy. The numerous attention and inquires that followed about the bag were a strong indication of the success that was to follow.
Inspired by neighborhoods of Paris named after Parisian women, this collection reflects the sophistication and attention to detail that has been the signature of this couture designer for over a decade.
ABOUT THE MATERIALS
This Paris Collection, hand made in South Africa, France and Italy is designed using three luxurious fabrications. All farm grown Crocodile, Ostrich and Springbok.
CROCODILE
Using the number one quality Nile crocodile, this collection is made from the belly of young farm grown crocodile and produced in France.
OSTRICH
Double quilted (2 skins) producing full Ostrich coverage. This collection is made by hand in South Africa from farm grown Ostrich.
SPRINGBOK
Springbok is a member of the deer family. Organically grown in South Africa, these skins, when dyed, produce a unique one of a kind array of color.
